These Terms of Service govern your use of the Awapp (أَوَّاب) application. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Awapp.
Awapp is provided free of charge and offers prayer times, Adhan and Iqama notifications, Qibla direction, Hijri and Gregorian calendars, Adhkar, Istikhara guidance where available, home screen widgets, and related features. The app is provided on an “as is” basis without express or implied warranties.
You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse-engineer, or otherwise commercially exploit the app except as allowed by applicable law.
Prayer times, Qibla direction, notifications, widgets, and reminders depend on many factors, including:
Different calculation methods and settings can produce different prayer times. Qibla and compass readings can vary indoors or near magnetic interference. Widget and lock-screen features depend on your device and OS.
Awapp strives for useful timings and alerts but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, perfectly accurate, or on-time operation in all circumstances (for example low battery, revoked permissions, or OS limitations).
You are responsible for reviewing your settings and, when needed, verifying prayer times and religious guidance with your local mosque, authority, or scholar. Any mobile data or roaming charges from your device or carrier are your responsibility.
Notification and alarm delivery depends on your device settings and OS. Optional features (such as exact alarms, battery exemption, or Do Not Disturb access on Android) require your permission and may change device behavior when enabled. You are responsible for understanding these settings before you turn features on.
Adhkar, Istikhara, and other religious content are provided for convenience and spiritual benefit. Content may be updated or expanded over time. Awapp does not replace scholarly judgment or local practice.
Adhkar texts are derived from the Prophetic Sunnah; the Hisn Muslim website (hisnmuslim.com) was used as a source to compile and phrase some material. Trademarks, design, and code of Awapp are proprietary.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Awapp and its developer are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on prayer times, Qibla direction, notifications, or content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the app or these terms. Users may need to accept app updates to maintain full functionality. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance of updated terms where permitted by law.
